PREPARATIONS BEFORE RUNNING

Ouka Chat Server is using one TCP-port for communication. If you are behind a router, you have to forward one TCP-port so that users can enter your room. By default port 6690 is to be used.

If you run a software firewall, the firewall will in most cases ask if server.exe should be allowed access to the internet. Without full access, the server will not work properly. Ouka Chat Server will also connect to a special server which holds all Ouka servers and list them in a special page as shown at Ouka Channel Server list Note: if the server is running in offline mode, it will not be listed.
