From the main menu, choose Options, then Passcode.
This box will appear:
From here you can add new passwords, remove old passwords and change existing passwords (and what level they belong to) A password can be up to 128 characters long and may include spaces. Passwords are also case sensitive. You should NOT use default passwords. First thing you should do is to remove default ones, and replace with yours. Use your imagination, passwords like password1 or adminpwd will give you bad security. Try use both upper and lower case characters and numbers in passwords for the different levels. enJoy waRm92suMMer is a 'secure' password, as it contain upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers and space. If you want even stronger password, use special chararcters. |
Add a new password 1. Enter the password in the Passcode field 2. Chose which level you want the password to apply to. 3. Click Add 4. Click OK to save settings. 5. Click Back to return to server.

Remove a password 1. Right click password in list you want to remove 2. Chose Remove from the menu 3. Click OK to save settings. 4. Click Back to return to server. ![]() Note: Clear All will remove all passwords from the list, which you should do if this is the first time running the server. Don't ever run your chat server with default passwords! |
Change level for a password 1. Right click password in list you want to change level on 2. Chose Level, then the level you want to use on this password 3. Click OK to save settings. 4. Click Back to return to server.

Change password without changing level. 1. Mark the password you want to change, then click it again to bring out the edit mode (slow double click). 2. Edit the password as you want it to be 3. Click OK to save settings. 4. Click Back to return to server.
